Coffee Cookies

For those of you with a sweet tooth, you will want to try coffee cookies. Our Sedona blend works well with this recipe.

Ingredients:
5 1/2 oz. butter
5 oz. sugar
2 oz .chopped hazelnuts
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup coffee or espresso
2 oz. of plain dark chocolate

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

2. Mix sugar and butter until smooth in a food processor. Once smooth, add the remaining dry ingredients (with the exception of baking soda) and mix.

3. Add the egg, flour, vanilla extract and baking soda. Once mixed, then add the coffee, nuts, and chocolate.

4. Drop dough with a spoon onto a greased cookie sheet.

5. Bake until firm and cool on a wire on rack.
